Slept through the NIGHT!!

We fed Graham around 11:30 pm last night and he didn't wake up until 6:20 this morning!! That is a total of 6 hours of sleep without waking us up hungry! We're both really happy about this day but more importantly, Max got to sleep the whole night without waking up with him. He has been such a good husband and dad. I'm so lucky to have him because ever since Graham was born, He did all the night shifts! All the patients at work tell me all the time that I don't look tired enough for having a baby and my explanation to that is I have a great husband! I can now feel better if Graham can sleep through the night every night so Max can get some rest at night.

I have noticed something interesting. Ever since we got pregnant with Graham, we can relate a special day to something significant to him. For example: August 8, 2008 is the day we found out Graham was well, Graham (a boy). It was also the day the summer Olympic started in China. His due date was January 1st, 2009 - New Year's day. He slept through the night on the day of the Oscars! Max is predicting that he will craw on our 1 year anniversary... I don't think that will happen but we will see.

Shots

Graham saw Dr. Huie yesterday and he's now 13 lbs 4 oz (I was close) and 23.5 inches long! Since he's 2 months old, he had to get his first big round of shots. 4 shots and 1 oral medication.

We had some questions going in to the appointment. The first one was the fact that he was smiling when he sees us yet and we were kind of concerned about it. Dr. Huie checked for tracking lights with his eyes and he passed. He's not too worried about any problems so we'll just have to wait and see. I guess Graham is just a serious kid. Graham should be eating a lot more from now on too. Dr. Huie expects him to start taking 6 oz at a time. He's going to get really chubby but it's supposedly normal because they grow a lot of fat as first and will get leaner as he gets older. So I better not hear people saying my son's fat. :)

Graham was running a fever of 100.4 last night (1st fever!) but he's doing much better this morning after some baby tylenol.

His next check up is 2 months away for his 4 months appointment. He will get his second round of shots this visit.

2 months old today!

we can't believe Graham is 2 months old today! He's still has not smiled but we're patiently waiting until the day he does smile. I hear it's the most wonderful thing. He's definitely cooing a lot more these days so we try to talk to him as much as we can while he coos. It's a way for him to communicate. He likes laying on his stomach and show off how strong his neck is.  That little head of his will be up looking around and almost smiling as he's doing it.

What a night we had with him. He slept for a solid 6 hours! Max was really excited about that because he got to sleep until 4 before waking up to feed him. I wonder how long he's going to sleep tonight!

His 2 months check up is tomorrow and we're not looking forward to this one. He receives his first big round of shots and Dr. Gilbert informed us to either give him baby tylenol before the appointment or the nurse can give it to him while we're there. I don't want to see him hurt but it's the best for him. We get to find out how much he's grown too. Max is hoping he'll be high up in the percentile... we shall see.

My guess is 13 lbs 10 oz and height at 21.5 inches long.

Valetine Sweetheart Photoshoot

Graham will be at the studio this Saturday for a Sweetheart Photoshoot. The photographer that's taking the pictures is also my wedding photographer. She's an excellent photographer so I'm sure the pictures will turn out great. I'll be posting them on here or give the link to see the proofs.

We're having difficulties loading videos up at the moment but as soon as it's fixed, we have a few very cute videos of Graham to show.

Here's a picture of him in his crib.

Hello!

Hi Family and Friends,

We've decided to start a blog for Graham so you guys can see how fast he's growing already. We will be posting lots of pictures and videos regularly so please keep checking his blog. He's now 6 weeks old and looking cuter and cuter every day.

Here's what he's done so far. He can - track objects, lift his head up at 45 degrees angle, coo (the sweetest sound yet), grab onto things (i.e. hair, fingers, toys), suck his thumb, index finger once in a while (usually it's his whole hand in his mouth). We're waiting for him to smile for the first time so we shall let you know when that happens.

Talk to you guys soon!

Love,
Max, Grace & Graham
