After a long and busy day at work yesterday, I came home and sat on the couch with Graham in my arms as usual. It's my favorite thing to do after work because no matter what happened during the day, seeing Graham ALWAYS made me forget the bad and all I can do is smile.
So after this particular day, I did my normal routine and started talking to Graham. I'd always ask how his day was and he'll respond back in Mmmm, AHHhhh, Yeeee.... Most of the time I'll get some smiles but never a laugh. So guess what? He laughed at me last night!! I was so thrilled that he laughed for the first time for me. I think he's starting to really know me now.
Hands -- He is very into his hands these days. Holds onto everything.... blankets, shirts, my HAIR...etc. Graham's got a good grip on him. Once he gets a good grip, you can forget about him letting it go!
Graham is also aware of people being in the room with him. I tried it when he was going to sleep in his crib. I ducked down so he couldn't see me, no cry. I slowly left the room and a minute later, he started crying. We've got to break that habit before he gets too comfortable with it.
I bought his first Easter outfit today at Trisha's Baby Station in Vestavia Hills and it looks adorable on him! Here's a sweet preview.
