6 months check up today
What a day we've had today. It's my first Friday off in a very long time and I had appointments to schedule on my day off. My first appointment was with Dr. Sarah for my "yearly" check up at 8am. Why I scheduled it for first thing in the morning... I have no idea! Graham was on his best behavior and all the nurses just loved having him there.
I also scheduled Graham's 6 months appointment for the same day at 11:15. Dr. Huie walked in and immediately noticed that Graham's ache problems have gone away! He continued to examine him and said he's a perfectly healthy boy! Since he is 6 months old, Dr. Huie said we can introduce more food to him if we wanted to. Just no meat products yet. Graham also received his shots again and he did a lot better this time. Cried only a little bit and quit right after it was done. The nurse was very impressed by that. Dr. Huie said the next time he sees him (which will be the 9 months check up) he will be crawling! So, he now weights in at 18 pounds and 12 ounces (70%) and 29 inches tall (95%).

Laughing at Boswell
Graham has offically completed and survived his first week at day care. When we got home today, daddy decided to hold him for a while. As they were sitting on the couch, Boswell came around the corner and propped his paws on the couch and Graham just started laughing at him. He was not afraid at all from Boswell... I guess that's a good thing since he's been around the dogs ever since he was born. It was the cutest thing to see him laugh at boswell.
As for us the parents, we also survived the first week of school. I think we had a harder time than Graham did. We were constently worried about him while watching the videos live... and would call each other and talk about what he's doing. I believe this will get better... it will just take time.

First day of SCHOOL (well Daycare)
Can you believe that it is here? His first day at Odyssey Early School. We got up around 6am this morning to get Graham ready for school. I had an outfit picked out for him to wear, packed his food for the day (milk, milk and milk), extra outfits in case of accidents. Worked on his poster for his crib yesterday and I think it's the best looking one in the class (haha). Both Max and I dropped him off at school because I still had to show Max how to sign Graham in and out, computer sign in and the door code to get in! We took him in his classroom and saw Ms. Katy with about 4-5 kids already there (all girls at this point) and went over his routine schedule with the teachers. I stayed with him a few mintues because I just couldn't leave him just yet. Finally it was time for me to go and it was about time for his breakfast so Ms. Skylar took him and started feeding him. He didn't even cry or anything when I left! I got in the car and just started crying... thinking I'm leaving my boy at school for the very first time!!
I continued to check on him during work (magic work of video cameras) and was able to pin point where he was at times and some I couldn't tell. Overall, I think he did quite well and the teachers thought he was the sweetest boy in class.
When we got home tonight, I was talking to Gloria on gChat and Graham was sucking on my hand as usual and I felt something sharpe all the sudden and thought, is he teething?? I then looked down and opened his mouth. Sure enough, he has 2 little teeth coming on the bottom!!!! I was so excited and it made me really happy.
My boy is sure growing up really fast. Better cherish these precious moment with him before one day asking me if he can get a car!! Heehee.
